Vogue Span Sdn Bhd  - Great Escape Smoke Hood

Our team of specialists have been working on the design of smoke hoods, gas masks, and absorptive and catalytic purification systems for over 30 years.

 

The “Great Escape” pocket smoke hood is the first in our range of smoke-hoods and biological-, chemical-, and nuclear- (NBC) protective products.

 

The smoke hood was originally designed for use by aircraft passengers, in case of fire on-board.

 

A further development of the smoke hood was undertaken, and a HEPA filter was incorporated to the design, to enable the removal of microscopic biological materials, such as anthrax.

 

High performance, and equally compact systems, comprising of precious metal catalysts, and high capacity absorbents are under development. Such products will provide much extended periods of protection, as would be required in areas far removed from safety, such as in submarines and deep coal mines.
